Hi friends,

I would like to thank you for taking time out of your day to come and consider donating through me to Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.

Each day everyone has a daily routine. Whether it is going to school, or work, or extracurricular activities, most of us go through life thinking mostly about ourselves and our "first world problems". Think to yourself, "how many times a day do I think about others?" By others, I mean the kids who just so happen to carry the burden of a disease that they never asked for. These kids did nothing to deserve to be as sick as they are, they're just the unfortunate ones. Not by choice, but merely by chance.

A lot of you might not know this but I am working towards becoming Miss Hawaii's Outstanding Teen.  One of the super cool opportunities this organization offers is the chance to raise funds for local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The money I raise will help save children’s lives, and a portion will also go to support the MAOTeen Scholarship Fund. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals makes sure that donated funds stay local, which means that your donation helps kids and families right here in our community.

Sickness and disease can strike at any time. None of us really know how much longer we have to live in this world. Many of these children understand this more than most adults. Each morning they wake up not knowing if this will be their last living day. So they live each day as if it is their last.

I invite you to join me in touching the lives of sick and injured children today, by clicking the "Support Me" button to make a secure donation. You can also see the impact of your donation by clicking here to view some of the incredible miracle stories from kids we've helped. These are just a few stories out of millions of kids treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me and ask. I personally thank you for your support in helping me make miracles happen.

Sincerely,

Gianna Borja
